"This video is very well done. I know the author (John Adler) and have taken a couple of the "Game of Logging” classes taught by him. He definitely knows his stuff. The information in this video mirrors the techniques John teaches in the GOL Level 2 class. It makes a great refresher and also a great way to learn from scratch. Sharpening by hand with the techniques taught here often gives better cutting results than new out of the box chain (not to mention blowing the doors off the job that the typical hardware-store flunky with 15 minutes of training on the store's chain grinder gets).
